An archive of film scripts and candid photos featuring Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Michael Caine amassed by a British movie director has sold for a total of £61,000.
The pictures offer a behind the scenes glimpse of British film classics including You Only Live Twice, Alfie, Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine.
They are all part of the private archive of the late film director Lewis Gilbert, whose impressive career spanned six decades.
Gilbert made more than 40 movies, but he was best known for directing three Bond films - You Only Live Twice (1967), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979) - and launching Michael Caine's international career with Alfie (1966). Michael Caine's international career with Alfie (1966).
