Pictured: Hand-Drawn Ralph McQuarrie Luke Skywalker Concept Sketch is signed by the artist

Original concept drawings for The Empire Strikes Back have emerged for sale for thousands of pounds.

The sketches of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker were hand-drawn by illustrator Ralph McQuarrie for the sequel to Star Wars.

He depicted the two Jedi Knights during their lightsaber duel in Cloud City - the famous scene in which Vader tells Luke 'I am your father.
