Forget barbecues in the park this summer - pizzas could soon be the in thing to cook at gatherings after a British inventor launched the world's first portable pizza oven.
Just like a barbecue the lightweight device can be thrown into the boot of a car and taken to parks and campsites - but instead of grilling food it uses wood or gas to heat up its authentic stone base to blistering temperatures.
Called the Roccbox, the invention is the brainchild of entrepreneur Tom Gozney, who launched his wood-fired pizza oven business six years ago after finding he couldn't cook a crispy pizza in his conventional oven.
Tom, 30, from Lymington, Hants, has spent three years developing his pioneering portable pizza oven, and is now looking for backing from Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson via the billionaire's 'Pitch to Rich' scheme where the public vote for enterprising inventions.
