A pair of Freddie Mercury's skintight leather hotpants have emerged for sale for £10,000.

The charismatic frontman wore the incredibly short tailored black shorts during an encore at a Queen concert in Birmingham in December 1980.

The then 34 year-old famed for his outrageous fashion sense supposedly picked them out as he wanted to 'shock' the audience.
