An out-of-this-world collection of vintage NASA photographs including the first ever snap from space and the first space selfie has emerged for sale for a whopping £500,000.
The archive of more than 600 photographs, many of which are unseen, covers NASA's groundbreaking space programme from its beginnings in the late 1950s through to the triumphant moon landing of 1969 and beyond.
The incredible collection of original photos has been painstakingly pieced together over several decades by a private collector.
It is the first time such a comprehensive collection of vintage NASA photographs has ever been sold at auction.
