How d'ya like them apples....

Apple-mad octogenarian Peter Collett has devoted his life to the fruit - and now has an incredible 130 varieties growing in his back garden.

Peter, 83, has spent the past 30 years cultivating his incredible orchard, which boasts some of the most rare and historic apple varieties in Britain.

The plucky pensioner first developed a love for apples during World War II when he spent his summer holidays picking fruit near his childhood home in Norfolk.

He has since nurtured apple trees from all over the country - but all come from areas which he has a connection to.

The jewel in the crown of his orchard is a tree which has a whopping 50 varieties growing on it.
