A British airman's harrowing account of the horrors of a Japanese PoW camp has come to light 75 years later.<br />

Leading aircraftman Don Allen was captured in February 1942 while serving in Malaya in the Far East during the war with Japan.<br />
<br />
In his 120 page manuscript, titled 'Delivered from Evil', Allen describes his three and a half years in captivity as 'entering the jaws of hell'.<br />
<br />
He recounts regular beatings at the hands of the tyrannical guards, exhausting forced labour and the terrible living conditions.
