A remarkable photo album compiled by a World War One pilot has been unearthed after 102 years.<br />
<br />
Chas Pulman owned a photography business in Birmingham before joining the Royal Flying Corps at the outset of the conflict.<br />
<br />
He developed his own aerial camera which he attached to the fuselage of the aircraft so he could take photos while flying.<br />
<br />
This was used to document naval battles, gas attacks and dramatic before and after images of trench warfare.
