Dolphins from one of the three colonies known to inhabit UK waters have become the first to swim over 800 miles to join another group, marine scientists have revealed.
The two bottlenose dolphins are known to have left the Moray Firth in Scotland in 2018 and have now joined the group that inhabit the sea off the south west coast.
