Apprentices are bringing hope to the dying art of stained glass window making.<br />

Research by charity Heritage Crafts has found millwrighting is critically endangered, meaning it is likely to become extinct within the next 25 years.<br />

The job of creating and maintaining the nations beautifully crafted stained glass is now largely carried out by an ageing workforce.<br />
<br />
There are less than 50 expert glass painters left in the UK and many of these are now approaching retirement age.
