The unique prototype for the Apple-1 computer has sold for £456,000. ($541,757)
Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak built the 'Apple Computer A' in 1976 to demonstrate to Paul Terrell, the owner of the Byte Shop in California, US.
The prototype was hand-soldered by Wozniak onto a printed circuit board.
Terrell was so impressed by it he gave them their first big order of 50 Apple-1 computers.
Despite having a chunk missing to its top right hand side, the circuit board sparked a bidding war 46 years on with RR Auction, of Boston, US.
