Pictured: Sculptor, Charlotte Austen-Charlotte has created life-size figures of two young children playing with a pond yacht. The scene was inspired by an image of members of the Thynne family from Christmas 1926

Life-size human sculptures have been unveiled at one of England's finest stately homes as part of an exhibition charting five centuries.

The figures represent people and items from the late 16th century to the present day connected with Longleat House in Wiltshire.

They include Jules Curtis, who was head gardener at the estate in the 1900s, clipping a topiary hedge.
