Residents in a neighbourhood in Colehill, near Wimborne, Dorset, were shocked when they came home to find workers had completely destroyed a pretty and green boundary along the pavement.<br />

Homeowners had spent 10 years happily maintaining the hedgerow themselves to make the suburban road more attractive and because it was important for wildlife.
