A classic Aston Martin which was damaged in a prang with a bollard has been painstakingly restored and is now tipped to sell for £425,000.
The red 1960 DB4 Series 2 had clocked up 79,000 miles before its original elderly owner crashed it about six years ago.
He began to repair it but due to failing health had to abandon the project and store the vehicle away in his garage in Harrow, North London.
The current owner, a retired diplomat, acquired it from him in 2020 and has paid £80,000 to bring it back to its former glory.
He hired Wren Classics near Shaftesbury, Dorset, who cut everything off from the bulkhead forward and remade it, putting in new parts where old ones could not be salvaged.
