Remarkable rarely seen photos that chart the final months of World War Two through despondent German eyes have come to light 75 years later.<br />
<br />
There are images of beleaguered German POWs marching to their surrender and what may be one of the last photos of Hitler alive.<br />
<br />
The Fuhrer can be seen shaking hands with members of the Hitler Youth in late April 1945, days before he committed suicide in his bunker.<br />
<br />
Other harrowing images show the devastation of the Allied bombing raids as German cities were turned to rubble.<br />
<br />
They are published in historian Jonathan Trigg's new book, To VE Day Through German Eyes.
