Wyatt Earp

A trio of guns that were owned by two of the Wild West's best known personalities have sold at auction for a whopping £305,000.

The weapons, which were sold as individual lots, belonged to Calamity Jane and Wyatt Earp.

Calamity Jane, real name Martha Jane Canary, is best known for appearing in Buffalo Bill's Wild West show and being an acquaintance of Wild Bill Hickok.

Wyatt Earp meanwhile was an Old West lawman and professional gambler who took part in the infamous shootout at the O.K. Corral in 1881.
