Flushed with pride...

A businesswomen has splashed out almost £110,000 on a disused toilet block so relieved townsfolk can spend a penny.

Bakery owner Caroline Parkin was furious when her local council closed the tiddly town centre conveniences - so she bought them herself.

Incredibly, Mrs Parkin, 65, forked out £80,000 over the odds to see off a pack of developers for the 36ft by 12ft building in Bridport, Dorset which she plans to reopen as public toilets.
