A father and son have missed out on a long-standing British record shark due to red tape around the weighing process.<br />
<br />
Harry Pardoe was fishing off the coast of Falmouth, Cornwall, with his dad, Mike, when he caught the enormous 251lb blue shark.<br />
<br />
The current British record for a boat-caught blue shark has stood at 218lbs since 1959 but Harry and Mike will not be able to claim it.
