Pictured: Harry Pardoe with his father Mike and the 251lb catch.
But there's a catch...
A father and son have missed out on a long-standing British record shark due to red tape around the weighing process.
Harry Pardoe was fishing off the coast of Falmouth, Cornwall, with his dad, Mike, when he caught the enormous 251lb blue shark.
The current British record for a boat-caught blue shark has stood at 218lbs since 1959 but Harry and Mike will not be able to claim it.
