A big game fisherman was left trembling after reeling in a record-breaking 550lbs deadly shark.

Simon Davidson, 39, hooked the monster shark just seven miles out from the Devon coast near Ilfracombe.

He fought for about an hour to reel in the porbeagle, a relative of the Great White, and his body was 'battered' by the ordeal.
