What a difference a year makes..
The windswept beach at Durdle Door in Dorset is virtually deserted today, exactly a year after glorious weather saw thousands flock to the iconic landmark.
A few stragglers, wrapped up in hats and coats, braved the wind and rain to walk along the beach that became a magnet for sunseekers during last year's pandemic.
Whilst last year saw temperatures into the mid-20s - way above the average for May - today the thermometer struggled to reach 10C.
