The owner of this converted church will be praying that a still in use graveyard won't put people off snapping up his unusual home.

Old All Saints Church dates from the early 16th century with additions and renovations added later, but the churchyard around it is open to the public and still has one or two burials a year.

The quirky home, which is Grade II* listed and almost 1,300 sq ft, consists of a kitchen and bathroom in the chapel, the nave and chancel have been converted to create a living, dining and study areas and a mezzanine floor was put in to create a bedroom.

The current owner bought it as a derelict church in the 1970s and got planning permission to turn it into a home. He has lived there since but, following the death of his partner, decided to downsize and sell this unusual property.

Sharnie Rogers from Strutt & Parker, who are selling the property, said it still has all the characteristics of a church and there is still potential for more conversion to be done.
