A historic Jaguar racing car that gave Sir Stirling Moss his big break has sold for a whopping £600,000.
The 1950 HWM Alta Jaguar was the first competitive racing car the legendary driver competed in.
Aged 20, he got behind the wheel of the motor at Goodwood racing circuit in West Sussex that year and came second for the low-budget HWM team.
