The ultimate house for spying on the neighbours has gone on the market - a quirky home that has a secret submarine periscope installed inside it.
The 10ft long tube that was salvaged from a World War Two Royal Navy X-class miniature submarine, was built into the luxury waterside home when it designed 15 years ago.
The bottom of the periscope with the view finder and handles is suspended 4.5ft above the floor in the open plan living room of the £2.5m home.
It extends vertically through the ceiling and floor above and looks out of the master bedroom window.
