Keepers at a safari park have come up with a novel way to weigh this adorable baby koala - with a specially adapted branch.

The tiny baby was born late last year but still remains firmly attached to mum Maizie and has only begun emerging from her pouch in recent weeks.

So staff at Longleat use a special Y-shaped wooden branch which is attached to a set of scaled to monitor how fast the joey is growing.
