A red slipper worn by Judy Garland while rehearsing for the Wizard of Oz has emerged for sale for £2,000. ($2,500)<br />
<br />
The size 5.5 right foot heeled slipper which is lined with cream leather has the name 'Judy Garland' inside written in black ink.<br />
<br />
It is virtually identical to the iconic red ruby slippers which her character Dorothy wore on screen in the 1939 film, only lacking the sequins.<br />
<br />
Garland rehearsed in a separate pair of slippers as they wanted to preserve the sequined ones for filming.
