An example of the Mother ship and one of the detachable pods.
The world's most luxurious superyacht which features its own detachable floating swimming pool and guest apartments has been unveiled - and it's guaranteed to make a splash among the world's super-wealthy.
The mammoth 250ft vessel has been designed to act as a 'mother ship' for a series of luxury modules that can be turned into whatever its billionaire owner desires including a pool, a garden or accommodation.
Once the boat is at anchor in its luxurious location the modules can be deployed and used as tiny floating boltholes.
It also has its own inflatable walk-ashore pontoon so guests can walk straight from the boat onto the beach.
And a cutting edge giro system would keep living quarters level at all time no matter how rough the seas are.
Despite its enormous size, owners could sail the state-of-the-art carbon-fibre boat right in close to beaches because of its shallow hull design.
The yacht, called the 77m X R-Evolution, is still a concept although its designers envisage it would costs hundreds of millions of pounds to buy.
The plush creation is the brainchild of Monaco luxury yacht designers Pastrovich Studio.
