These craggy chalets dug into a cliff have been designed to resemble the work of an eccentric 18th Century hermit - but will welcome their first guests next year.

The stone-clad buildings are perched atop a limestone cliff and offer stunning views of the Jurassic Coast, but the five holiday homes will be practically invisible to passers-by and will be almost impossible to spot with the naked eye.

Locally quarried materials masks the homes and they will and covered in grass, making them blend in with the UNESCO World Heritage site.
