Agatha Christie enthusiasts have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise £2.75m to buy the writer's former home and turn it into a tourist attraction.
The legendary author lived at Winterbrook House for 42 years until her death and did most of her writing there, including Death on the Nile which has a new film adaptation being released next year.
Current owner Gregor Kleinknecht put the five-bedroom home on the market last month but is supporting the band of locals who want to create a tribute to the author.
