A BMW coupé formerly used by ABBA on their European tours has emerged for sale for around £31,000.<br />
<br />
The 633 CSi was ordered from new in 1977 by Polar Music, the band's record label. It was then used on several of the Swedish superstars' tours and followed them to be on standby for use by Björn Ulvaeus or Benny Andersson.<br />
<br />
The two-door classic was selected by the label as it was discrete and could easily blend in with surrounding traffic. This allowed the international mega-stars to travel in relative anonymity.<br />
<br />
At the time, the foursome who where at the height of their fame, and treasured their privacy.
