A group of cheeky monkeys found the perfect way to cool down in the middle of a humid summers day - by demolishing lollies from an ice cream van.
The mischievous creatures had been dozing off in the warm weather but went bananas when they heard the tinkling tune of the vehicle.
They scampered over to the van and excitedly climbed all over it to get to the cold snacks with some even staring at the tempting signs as they decided what to eat.
Dozens of the hungry rhesus monkeys each grabbed a fruit based lolly from the counter before enjoying them in the sunshine at their enclosure at Longleat Safari Park, Wilts.
The treats were provided by ice cream seller Colin Robb, who said the playful creatures were even trying to gnaw on the plastic cones stuck to the van.
