Carpathia Captain Arthur Rostron.
The salvaged engine order telegraph from the ship that rescued the survivors of the Titanic disaster has surfaced for sale for £80,000.
The nautical instrument hasn't been seen since the Carpathia was torpedoed and sunk by a German U-boat in 1918 - six years after the loss of Titanic.
The 4ft tall bronze telegraph was on the bridge of the Cunard liner and used by its heroic captain Arthur Rostron after he received the SOS from Titanic.
He moved the handle to 'Full Steam Ahead' which instructed the staff in engine room deep below to rapidly increase speed.
