A collection of dramatic and violent paintings by rock star Chris Rea inspired by his love of Ferrari is tipped to sell for tens of thousands.

The singer, famous for his motor-related hits, 'Driving Home for Christmas', and 'The Road to Hell', also has a 'life-long passion' for the Italian sports car.

His unique collection of 68 oil on canvas prints depict the Prancing Horse as an almost religious icon in various blood-red scenes.
