Rock 'n Roll...
A remarkable note scrawled by John Lennon blaming rockers Keith Moon and Harry Nilsson for urinating on a console at a recording studio has emerged for sale.
The note, to infamous producer Phil Spector, is titled “A matter of pee” and in it he states that he can’t be expected to “mind adult rock stars”.
Written in the US in the early 70's when Spector produced two Lennon albums it shows the former Beatle’s frustration.
In the note, Lennon says that he's going to 'Piss off to Record Plant because of this shit' and that the recording studio wants to evict them, and he tells Spector to send any bill to Capitol Records.
Record Plant East in New York was where he completed the John Lennon RocknRoll album in 1975 - and was also recording when he was shot dead in 1980.
