The legendary Ford Capri that starred in '80s TV show Minder has been restored to its former glory after a devastating fire wrecked the car.

The 1977 white motor which appeared on the opening titles of the comedy-drama caught ablaze while it was returning from an MoT test last year.

It is thought an electrical fault in the engine bay caused the fire.

Now a mechanic who specialises in classic car restorations has unveiled the famous Ford after fixing it up over the past six months.
