For sale - Edward VIII's leather lederhosen, bought on honeymoon in Austria after abdicating the throne to marry Wallis Simpson in 1937.

After the honeymoon the Duke of Windsor faced further accusations of disloyalty after his unofficial royal visit to Nazi Germany.

During the visit, he even attended a political rally flanked by SS guards and met Hitler at his Alpine retreat at Berchtesgaden.

The pale grey chamois lederhosen which has leather shoulder straps and lacing to the sides is tipped to sell for £7,400.
