A stunning 207-year-old fortress designed to keep out invaders is now a welcoming home on the market for £750,000.
The Q Tower, a Martello tower in Felixstowe, Suffolk, retains many of its defensive features, including a dry moat surrounding it with a 4.5metre-high wall, a drawbridge and even a pair of cannons - perfect for deterring unwanted visitors.
And from the top the striking Grade II listed building the owners will be able to enjoy stunning panoramic views along the coastline and out to sea.
The tower was built in 1810 and was an important element in the defence of the south-east coast against the threat of invasion during the Napoleonic War.
