A canny couple have carried out improvements to increase the value of their waterfront home by £4.75m in just seven years.

Robert and Stephanie Atkins bought Home Waters in 2016 for £2.5m and have now put the property on the market for £7.25m.

While the property would have gained value in the intervening years through inflation and a buoyant housing market, the changes the property developing couple have made have added several millions more.
The grand home has its own private pier and is one of just five properties in an exclusive cul-de-sac in Poole, Dorset, with stunning panoramic views of the harbour, picturesque wildlife sanctuary Brownsea Island and the famous Sandbanks peninsula.
