A canny couple have carried out improvements to increase the value of their waterfront home by £4.75m in just seven years.

Robert and Stephanie Atkins bought Home Waters in 2016 for £2.5m and have now put the property on the market for £7.25m.

While the property would have gained value in the intervening years through inflation and a buoyant housing market, the changes the property developing couple have made have added several millions more.
