Fascinating photographs showing Sir Winston Churchill and other Allied leaders planning for peace after the Second World War have been sold at auction.
The black and white photos show the British wartime prime minister with US President Harry Truman and Russian leader Joseph Stalin at the Potsdam Conference in Germany in July 1945.
It is believed the photos were taken or amassed by William Rigdon, a White House aide to President Truman.
