A Star Wars nut has bought a one-off life-sized model of Han Solo frozen in carbonite.

The huge replica, which is identical to how the captured smuggler appeared in The Empire Strikes Back, sold for £1,235 at auction.

It was bought by an unknown Star Wars superfan who saw off competition to secure the unique piece.
