One of Britain's most popular heritage railways is to reopen this weekend after the coronavirus pandemic came close to putting it out of business.<br />

Swanage Railway in Dorset has been rebuilt and run as a tourist attraction by an army of volunteers over the last 44 years.<br />
<br />
However, it was left on the brink of financial meltdown due to the economic effects of COVID-19.
