Bond girl Britt Ekland has sold her beloved Mini Cooper car for almost £20,000 as she prepares to move back to her native Sweden.

The actress fell in love with the classic British motor when her former actor husband Peter Sellers bought one in the 1960s.

Her affection for the humble car outlived her unlikely relationship with the blundering Pink Panther star who she divorced after just four years.
