An exceptionally rare Star Wars toy figure of the smooth-talking rebel pilot Lando Calrissian has sold at auction for over £5,000.<br />

The 4ins tall plastic figure of the administrator for Cloud City was presented to auctioneers in mint condition and still in its sealed bubble packaging.<br />

It was made by British toy manufacturers Palitoy in 1980 to coincide with the release of The Empire Strikes Back, which Lando appears in for the first time.<br />
<br />
It had a pre-sale estimate of £1,000 but ended up selling for £5,040.
