The perfect invention for mid summer picnic's - The edible spoon that is a tasty treat as well as saving on the washing up.<br />

Prudent pensioner Roy Webb(77) came up with the novel idea after eating canapes served on small spoons at a party.<br />
<br />
He set about designing an edible product that could hold many picnic favourites, such as tomatoes, houmous, and strawberries.<br />
<br />
He made a spoon shaped cutter and used it to punch out a spoon shape from thick bread, pastry or pizza base.<br />
<br />
The shapes are then placed onto metal spoon moulds and baked in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until they were golden brown.<br />

The kits are now flying of the internet from Roys new website at ediblespoons.co.uk.
