An "impressively sized" 242-year-old clock made during the reign of King George III has emerged for sale for £15,000.
The mahogany antique features a large circular timepiece below a panel for choosing one of 12 different tunes for the clocks chime.
The table clock, made by Eardley Norton, has a white enamel dial engraved with Roman numerals.
He was so skilled that he received royal patronage and even made a clock for the King himself.
Mr Norton sold his wares from a shop in London between 1760 and 1792, when he died.
