A picturesque and private farm in the heart of Somerset is on the market for £2.75m - and the new owner can even buy its award-winning herd of cattle.

Hillcombe Farm has a sustainable farmhouse, separate office, holiday cottage and 56 acres of land so the buyer will get a lot for their money.

For the past 20 years, the owners have kept a small pedigree herd of Red Ruby Devon cattle, which have won lots of competitions and their breeding cows in-calf can be worth about £1,500 each.

But they are willing to sell the beef herd of about 50 cows and farm machinery to the new owner under separate negotiation.
