It's not the quietest place to raise a family but this blue tit mum has managed to build a nest for her young inside a gate post at Bournemouth Airport in Dorset. The small bird was spotted by airport worker Gary Owen flying into the small hole barely big enough to squeeze through. Gary quietly walked up to the gate and realised there were several chicks inside the hollow pole, so the amateur wildlife photographer returned the next day with his camera and grabbed a series of shots showing the mother bird going back and forth from the nest.
