Keath Armstrong arrives in Bournemouth with his three husky dogs Sakari, Nukka and Nala after travelling 318 miles from Manchester to raise money for cystic fibrosis.

Barking mad...

A man has moved 260 miles away and made the entire journey on foot with just his dogs to help drag his possessions.

Keath Armstrong, 32, originally planned to move from Crumpsall in Manchester to Bournemouth in Dorset the conventional way, with a removal van.

But he decided to walk the massive distance as a way to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis, after his friends Richard and Carl Jones died from the disease.

Keath and his huskies walked between 11 and 30 miles each day and the journey took almost one month to complete.

He used a three wheeled sled to carry his belongings which was pulled by the three dogs, Nala, four, Nukka, five, and Sakari, nine.

Keath, who worked as a waiter in a restaurant but quit to do the challenge, camped every night along the way.

He originally planned to make the trip by walking along the roads but realised it was too dangerous and opted to follow canals.

He raised more than 3,100 pounds for the charity which was three times more than what he had hoped to do.
