The Family Leaf X Pro.

The age-old problem of cyclists getting drenched in the rain has been solved thanks to this nifty invention that acts like an umbrella.

Desperate to be able to ride their bikes all year round regardless of the weather, a team of green-fingered designers dreamed up a product which could be attached to any bike to keep its rider dry.

The result is the Leafxpro, a clip-on windshield-come-umbrella that promises to protect cyclists from whatever the weather gods throw their way whether it be rain, gales or even snow storms.

The Leafxpro is the brainchild of Portuguese engineer and cycling enthusiast Manuel Brito, who is currently looking for funding for the project on crowdsourcing website Kickstarter.
