Servicing could be an issue...

One of the most historic F1 cars of all time is coming up for auction - with a glorious but poignant heritage.

Its the Benetton F1 car which helped rising star Michael Schumacher win his first world championship in 1994.

The German driver won four Grand Prix in this 1994 Benetton Cosworth Ford B194, including the famous Monaco race.

But despite the historic car's successful history, it is linked to one of the darkest moments in motor racing history.

Schumacher was driving this car immediately behind rival Ayrton Senna when the Brazilian driver was killed in a horrific 190mph crash at the Imola circuit in the 1994 San Marina GP.

Schumacher climbed out of the vehicle moments after the accident and went on to win the race when it controversially restarted.

The 200mph car is in perfect working order although you will need a F1 circuit to run the 3.5 litre 740bhp monster.

Bonhams are selling the historic motor with a pre-sale estimate of £600,000.
