This is the finished model of an unsung British hero who saved hundreds of children destined for Nazi concentration camps.<br />
<br />
Trevor Chadwick, nicknamed the 'Purbeck Schindler', helped Sir Nicholas Winton rescue 669 Jewish children from Czechoslovakia before the Second World War.<br />
<br />
But his brave actions were not revealed until more than 50 years after the war.<br />
<br />
Sculptor Moira Purver was tasked with making a life-size statue to honour his efforts that will be displayed in his hometown of Swanage, Dorset.
